Cover Types
1. Early magazine covers- photo is hard to see, a title but not much text
2. The poster cover- consists of a picture filling the frame of the magazine and only a title and small words on the bottom corner. disadvantage: has to be VERY appealing to the readers eyes.
3. Pictures married to type- less color and text than the forest of words, text is usually on one side, text is involved in the photo, as many entry points
4. In the forest of words- lots of words, different fonts, subjects, colors, sizes all over the place framing the subject.  disadvantage: distracting and hard to see the full subject
